    I desperately need help!?! I've been using the guides @ http://www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm to author and burn VCDs for months. I want to start burning SVCDs. I followed the guide for Burning SVCDs w/nero. No problem. The problem is that when I go a play it in my DVD player, all I get is a black screen. The disk will play and the words CD appear on the DVD player instead of PBC PLAY. I've been able to view SVCDS on my player (Pioneer DV-414) before. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

    I Suggest you author your VCD/SVCD's with either TSCV or VCDEasy and not with Nero, although i like Nero for general burning purposes, it is not THE tool for Authoring, TSCV and VCDEasy create a much more standard video.
