  1. Hey guys, I'm in france right now and made a very long video in my car showing off the countryside.

Problem is, the ENTIRE video suffers from a bad mounting job and bumpy roads, so the entire film is usually bumping up and down.

I don't know if there is, but i PRAY, there is i way to edit the bumpyness out, like a stabilization options somewhere in premiere pro or elements.

Actually anything will do, I just don't want to lose this footage.

Can someone with experience or any idea of what I can do please help me?

    Thank you

I've had success with the deshaker for virtualdub
it stacks the frames on top of each other from the center out
not sure it's going to like constant sideways motion, though

Deshaker might work. I've had some success at using it to remove jitter.

One thing to keep in mind when using a deshaker is that you will also need to crop the edges after you do the deshaking. A side effect is that when the frames are shifted to maintain the position of the frames with respect to each other, a black edge occurs on each frame that is shifted. This is very distracting when viewing the video because you have a black edge that keeps jumping around. If you crop it, you can get rid of that. Keep in mind though that this will reduce the field of view by whatever amount that you crop.

i have premiere elements if that helps, AND i have virtualdub, but i'd rather learn it in premiere.
