Since I use Media Player Classic for all my audio and video files, I wanted a simple way to access my library and launch my favourite playlists. As MPC will only allow you to add individual media files (not playlsts) in its "favorites" feature, I ran RegEdit and modified the registry keys so that they contain the playlist filenames. I am pleased to report that this works fantastically! Now, this would soon turn into a long unwieldy list, so what I really want is to be able to have sub-categories (as in the "favorites" feature of "Firefox", e.g.) so that I could have a different list for each Artist, or whatever. I have tried adding keys in RegEdit, but MPC ignores that. Also tried renaming the "files", "DVDs", "Devices" keys, but MPC just adds new blank ones with the right names.
Does anyone know how this could be done?
