convert AVI to swf

I did a tool search couldn't find anything, even though SUPER is supposed to do this, and i have tried it

and yes SUPER will create swf files, unfortunately those files, do NOT meet the requirements my PHONE requires for swf files for animated wallpapers

so i am asking for recommendations for a another program ( preferably free ) that will create SWF files at 7 or 7.5 fps and custom resolutions 240*400 and 400*240

I have used super to output avi's at 7.5 fps and import those into an old version 'coffee cup gif animator' which will out put a swf file that does work on the phone. the problem is ' the videos are grainy 8bit 256 color' swf ver2 std

I need something with better quality and a smaller output file

with my current method 30 seconds of grainy video is 3meg

here is an example , this gif is the same quality as the swf file, CCGF converts the AVI into a series of BMP images, then compiles the GIF or SWF ouput file

Your best bet would likely be a tool provided by your phone supplier, many offer tools. Otherwise, a quick google search turns up lots of hits, so a little experimentation would be required: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=convert+to+swf

my supplier VERIZON wirless, likes to keep things locked up tight, they like to sell you content, NOT have you make your own, the phone comes with 14 junk animated swf wallpapers 7 for the exterior touch screen and 7 for the interior display

thru hacking experimentation i have found that swf 3+ is the correct format, at 7-7.5 fps

I also found thru numerios Dl's and demo testing, that "eltima softwares" " swf video converter, will create what i want, comes from Germany and costs $39.95 USA $$ to buy the registration key

out of my budget, for this task.

anybody know of a free or cheaper program that will create swf 3+ 'legacy format' files from a properly formated avi

making the 7.5 fps avi in the wanted res is not a problem

getting quality output in swf 3+format is the problem

super doesn't produce this format, and many other programs do not either, most produce the newer MX format

my current program CCGA produces ver 2 8bit color format which has a rather grainy look too it

file from DEMO program, works as wallpaper on my phone, but hate the PRICE for the registered ver, IF i could make money selling shockwave wallpapers to pay for it, it wouldn't be so bad.
