Hi ,
Is it possible to just extract the audio from a xvid movie, and change the VBR to CBR , then put back onto the movie ?
I just tried to change using TMPGEnc but the encode time is 5 hours...wondering if other qucker solutions

last time i did something like this, i had a video in 2 halves that i wanted to join, but virtualdub complained about the VBR and wouldnt let me... so i put the AVI directly into Goldwave, which demuxed the audio straight out of the AVI. i did the required audio joining, then i outputted the audio as an mp3 (lame required)....had to demux the avis by putting them one at a time into virtualdubmod, disabling the audio stream, then re-saving them...then i was able to re-compile both videos and the new audio in VDubMod easily.

You can run it through Avi_Gain_Regular.bat to create CBR audio.
