  1. I wonder if it's possible to create an image sequence of the individual frames out of the HDV captured (1080p 60i format video) from a Sony HC3 camcorder, if so what software could I use to this end?

    Thanks zoobie, but sorry to ask you again. In the thread you mention videodan is outlining a method in Premiere. Is that procedure he explains for extracting a single frame or an image sequence (the whole collection of individual frames in BMP,JPEG or whatever format) from a video?

    If you want to go the free route, you can open the m2t in DGindex and save the project d2v. Open the d2v in Virtualdub and save the selected image sequence to BMP or JPG. Easy and free...........

    If you'd like, you can then Batch Resize the 1440 x1080 image sequence to 1920 x 1080 with Irfanview (also free)..........
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
