    I have goldwave and there was a forum ? on how to increase the volume here but I cannot seem to find out how or the post I was told to go Effect/volume/maximize volume.

    There are buttons on the tool bar and in the drop down menus for altering the volume. The options are increase, decrease, maximize, and equalize, or something like that. You simply load the file, make the adjustment, and then save the new file.
