  4. It cant be done, you cant have 2 audio tracks on an mpeg 1 as far as i know.

Have you tried making non-standard SVCD's? Nero has the option to do this, after you select SVCD, click on make standard. Its something like that, i cant remember off the top of my head

  5. It can be done.
    1. You take your two stereo audio tracks, flatten them to mono, and remix them so track one is coming from the left channel and track two is coming from the right.
    1. Switch back and forth using the Audio button on your DVD player's remote.
I understand that this is how it's done in China, with the left channel Cantonese and the right channel Mandarin.
I have found freeware called Audacity that'll do the trick. I recently ripped the Highlander DVD and included the regular audio (left) and the director's commentary (right).

  6. The easist thing to do is go MPEG2. MPEG2 supports multiple audio tracks, MPEG1 does not. You can make one track the left channel and to the other right, then burn the single audio track but I find this to be more of a pain/effort than just muxing an xSVCD. But to each his own

  7. Vejita-sama,

MPEG-2 is out of the question.
    Quim's player doesn't play (x)SVCD.
