There seems to be soon version 6 with tons of new additions, what I like is the keyframe based multi-camera editing

the Vegas M-C editing is a pain. Edit studio uses the same mainconcept codec like vegas though... which is good. -
i just downloaded the multi-cam plugin and i'll check it out when i get a chance. editstudio looks interesting from a first look.

I've been using Edit Studio before Mediachance (DVDLab) bought it from the UK developers.
It's a very good timeline editor for digital video (DV) files (avi).
Has a good number of transistions/effects/ color correction/ and 3rd party plugins.
If you are aware of WAX, that can be used here as well for better effects and more.
Can output to mpeg, dv files, and others (quicktime), to vcr, back to camera..
Worth it as far as I am concerned.Whatever doesn't kill me, merely ticks me off. (Never again a Sony consumer.) -
The Multi-camera seems to be much better integrated into workflow in the 6 beta than with the pluging for v.5 where it works - well - like a plugin.

i don't see a beta 6 listed on the mediachance site? is it available elsewhere?
