Ok, with the current driver I have for this, I can capture HD using CapD-VHS to a .TS file no problem.
BUT...
Are there any other drivers (XP) out there for the Motorola 6412 that will allow you to capture 'protected' content? Usually with CapDVHS when you begin recording it will show you the screen resolution size in the boxes, but those remain empty while trying to capture protected content (yet the file is still created and goes up in size the same as a regular stream).
I was just wondering if there were any drivers out there that would capture *everything* that's coming through the 6412's firewire port regardless of its protected status.
??

Zodiac,
There may be a recent update that I've not been made aware of, but content protection (which you're seeing as the inability to capture from a specific channel/program) can't be circumvented when capturing via the firewire port on the 6421.
