  1. Hi

Im still having trouble converting certain MKV to DVD with SYNC issue, (VSO ConvertXtoDVD)
is there a method of shifting the sound on affected VOBs?

I tried WMP CLASSIC with 50ms/100ms but when i save the file it was still the same, and also playback was stuttery (FFshow) and therefore I had to save and re-open in VLC to check

I have Virtualdub and nandub and heard it can be done in that...

    Thanks Again Guys

I don't know of any nice way to fix the problem inside the VOBs. Personally, I would demux the VOBs, and fix the delay issue when authoring the video and audio back into a new DVD structure.

I have encoded this file twice now with exact same problem at 1:16:00 in its out of sync by about 50-100 ms

    thanks

It depends on the authoring tool. DLP has a delay function that trims or adds empty air to the audio track to bring it back into line.

You might also be able to use syncview to create an adjusted wav file, then convert than to AC3 (or mp2 if you prefer)

  5. I fixed the issue... I used AVI2ISO to encode the file, had to disable 5.1 sound mapping then run encode, its a great program...

I think it should be submitted to this site for download....
