Hey guys I've been ripping a bunch of dvds of sitcoms I have to my computer and I'm trying to get the audio sync perfect. I can't tell just by watching whether it is out of sync or not. I keep thinking it is, but that might be just cause I'm looking too hard at their mouths. Also, whenever I open the episodes in virtualdub the streams are different lengths. I also noticed that Gordian Knot adds a few frames to the final product, because a final episode usually has 3 or more frames then the original. Anyway, I'm really confused, and I can't really notice the audio and video out of sync (or maybe I can). Should I just leave it alone and forget about it, or try to get the audio sync on the dot mathematically?

If it's so close that you aren't sure, I would just leave it alone.
