All SVCD I made with DVD2SVCD v1.03 have subtitles and I can mannage then by turn on and -off, but any higher version of DVD2SVCD did not allow me to have subtitles. Can somebody adwise me how to have subtitles on latest version of DVD2SVCD?
My DVD player is APEX 500 W.

Well earlier versions of DVD2SVCD used I-Author to create subtitles. This method produced cvd style subs, which from my experience are more compatible on Apex's than the standard svcd style subs.
The new versions of DVD2SVCD use submux for subs and by default I presume it would create svcd style subs. I havent used the latest version of DVD2SVCD but I would think there would be an option to create cvd style subs. If not then you may have to use submux manually. Let me know if you need help adding subtitles manually. -
try the latest...see if it won't correct your subtitle problem
05 feb. 2002 version 1.0.6 build 4
-- Enhancement: I rebuild SubMux.exe in Borland C++ instead of Cygwin. Not only does it make a smaller exe file, but it actually seems to make the subtitles work better on the SVCD. Probably due to word alignment.
