  1. I bought this DVD player a couple of days ago. I got a minor problem with it. My TV's aspect ratio (zoom mode) changes to "FULL", when i start to play a movie. I have to change it back to "IDEAL" from TV preferences, so that AR is correct again. This only happens one time, after TV has been shutted down. I mean it won't happen again, until i shut down (NO stand-by) the TV. I use SCART connection.

I have tried different "View Modes" from DVD setup, but it won't correct that. Mode is now "Auto fit". AR is set to 4:3, like my TV is. I didn't got this "problem" with my previous AFK DVD player.

So, why TV changes its own AR?

TV brand and model would be helpful. All you should have to do is set the video output type of the DVD player to 4:3. Your TV may or may not have a setting for each individual input.

  3. Thanks for answer! Video output is set to 4:3. My TV is Finlux 28" 4:3 TV. It's about 9 years old. There's no setting for input on my TV.

Maybe my TV is kinda too old for my new DVD player... ?

I've never seen older CRT 4:3 TV's with "zoom modes", I've only seen them present on newer TV's (unless I'm misunderstanding what you are saying).

Are you having playback issues with normal DVD's or avi files?
