    Umm I know this is a newbie question but yeh I want to add coreAVC to MPC to replace FFdshow with MKV files. I installed coreAVC but I don't know how to get it to replace ffdshow when watching MKV files?

    If it isn't ffdshow i want to replace plz tell me cas im still kinda confused...

    Try disable H264/avc decoding in ffdshow and coreavc should be used in mpc. From the start menu->ffdshow->video decoder configuration and under Codecs set H.264/AVC to disabled.

    Ok I did that, am I suppose to see coreAVC in the list as well or do i just have to start it each time I watch an MKV file?
