Hey everyone! I just got a fancy new Canon HV20, and I finally figured out how to get it into Premiere Pro CS3, using some tricky manouvering. The only problem is, I filmed it in 24p, and the only way I've managed to capture it is to make it a 29.97 fps file. I've read about Inverse Telecine, and I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how I could go about doing that (what programs work best, how to do it, etc).

If anyone had any advice on capturing HDV video at 24p without having to go through this whole rigamoroll, that too would be greatly appreciated.

The best way is using AviSynth to frameserve, with one of its IVTC filters in the script.

If you could upload a small 10 second sample somewhere, one showing movement, then we could have a look and perhaps offer some better or more specific advice.
