  1. I captured a movie to several AVI files where i overlapped each file for later editing together (this was before i knew how to do the segmented avi files)
I then left TMpegEnc for a day to encode all of the files into VCD compliant mpg.

Firstly: What can i use to edit the parts together (the files i captured overlap), i looked at TMpeg for the cut and merge options, this may sufice but is there anything better?

Secondly: If i edit them together into 1 big mpeg file, how can i then get nero to create chapters from it?
Or do i have to edit it together into one big file and then split it into chapters where i say they should be?

    TIA

  2. Nero can not create chapters.

TSCV works well for creating chapters.

  3. I've never tried this, but couldn't you just leave the file in multiple pieces and burn them using Nero as separate files? Each track would then just be another chapter in the movie. Can you remove the pause between tracks theough...

  4. Next time i will indeed capture and split into chapters at places where it may be less noticable.
But this being one of my first attempts, i thought i'll make each part overlap by a few seconds then cut it together afterwards. But this proved harder than it sounds.
i got very bad joins and often right in the middle of a scene.

Ah well, we live and learn
