  1. Hey there!

What didn't i understand from your so perfectly written howto guide??? I ripped the vob's onto my harddrive and since they were small enough I started Nero and the burningprocess......

Result: It works on my computer in the same drive! Not perfectly!? But I get a movie!? It won't work on my standalone player???? It supports +RW
Tried the button trick while inserting the disc. But all I get is
    -DISC ERROR!

Plz make me happy!! Any suggestions!?

Take care! And thnx for the best of sites!

  3. Did u copy the IFO & BUP files along with the vobs??

    Did u burn them in Video_TS & Audio_TS folders?

  4. Thank you!!

I used Smartripper to backup the DVD on my harddrive. As on the original movie there was only the Video_ts folder.

I used Nero to burn that folder, with contents, on a DVD +RW disc.

Which are the most common reasons why it doesn't work? Do ya know??

    Take care friend!

  6. Yepp!! So I did!?

I tried doing all again, same result! It works as good as the real thing on my PC!?

  7. Well since it works on the PC, then sounds like your player does not support DVD+RWs which I wouldnt be surprise if it didnt, the PLUS RWs are fairly new to the market, and unless you have a brand new DVD player, then it probably doesnt support the PLUS RWs, maybe the MINUS RWs.

  8. Yepp I,m afraid you're right! But according to compatibility list on this site my player was supposed toplay +RW. But it seems like this is the problem! Thanx for your help!

One other question!? How to I get all the other folders to my harddrive?? Smartripper only gives me VIDEO_TS??

    Take care!

  9. Yeah unfortunately the compatibility list on this site is not highly accurate, it is easier for future reference to go to the manufactuer's website or call them...

Im gonna assume that the other folders you say, may have some computer type of stuff. The only DVD movie related material will bein the Audio_TS or Video_TS folders. So the rest MAY NOT be CSS encrypted, which means you should be able to simply copy & paste it within windows explorer.

  10. Smartripper saves everything in the VIDEO_TS folder!? Doesn't even tuch AUDIO_TS?? Is this maybe because it's either empty or not encoded?
Does Smartripper deal with the Audio_TS folder if it's encoded!? And only then? Am I starting to sound enojing?? Thx for helping me out!

  11. I dont believe it does...I think the only thing that would be in an Audio_TS folder would be like it was digital music, like a concert or something....

  12. Try adding a blank Audio_TS to the dvd+rw. I've heard that some players need an audio_ts folder on the dvd+rw. Hope that works for you!!!
