I recently purchased a new burner which came with Nero 7 Essentials. My old burner had Nero Express 6.6. When I installed Nero 7, version 6.6 was removed which doesn't bother me except ver 7 does not have cd cover designer which I found to be very useful. Has anyone had any luck installing the cover designer app that comes with ver 6.6 while having Nero 7 installed?
Do I have to upgrade to the full version to get the Cover Designer?
TIA
Kenmo

I would head over to the Nero website and download the UPDATE for Nero 7. This will install the cover designer. It may not put a short cut in the start menu. If one isn't there the program will be in C:\Program Files\ either under Nero or Ahead, in the CoverDesigner folder. Right Click on the Icon and either send to desktop as a shortcut or pin to start menu.

This thread would probably be better in our Media Forum. Moving you.

Thanks kindly. I did as you suggested and installed the update from AHEAD however I'm still without the Cover Designer. I do have a folder named Nero Cover Designer but there is only one file present. It has an .OCX extension.

That stinks. I've used the above with version 6 essentials to get the cover designer. Guess they fixed that feature.Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly. -
Yeah stinks big time. And other suggestions? Perhaps a freeware cover maker?
