Since I lost all my software and keys to a format I wasn't prepared for, I was wondering what the latest best all in one DVD Backup solutions were...if money (aka bit torrent) wasn't a problem? I was using DVDFab Platinum, but like I said did not save the key. I've researched what ones are best as of the new year and that prog is still ranking high, but 1clickdvd pro beat it on one website...so I'm just trying to get an idea of what I should buy. Any help is much appreciated!

You don't really have to buy anything. DVDFab HD Decrypter, DVD Shrink and ImgBurn is about as good as it gets, IMO. And all freeware.

If Shrink needs more 'shrinkage', then DVD Rebuilder is a great substitute. And still freeware.

Sometimes payware is not better. 8)

I had good results with all the free stuff, but thought the expensive crap did do a better job compressing DVD 9's into DVD 5's....I will always keep the free stuff around though.

Be careful alluding to warez. Against forum policies. I second redwudz suggestions.

I guess it is in the eye of the beholder, and I suspect that with some, at least, having paid for it increases the perception of quality, regardless of actual outcome. DVD Rebuilder with HCEnc is equal to any commercial DVD reduction tool. Better results might be achieved through manual methods, but that is rarely a practical solution.

do not request warez - read rules
