    I'm looking for software that will author Blu Rays on a PPC Mac. Anyone have any ideas?

    first you need a blue ray burner. Then you need a hd camera to record hd and then Final cut express or even iMovie HD will let you author HD movies and Toast latest version can burn to Blue Ray disk.

    Encore is the only option at this point. Toast won't author...it just writes data to BD so it won't help in this case.

    No, with a Blue Ray Burner and FCP Studio 2,
    you can author in FCP 6 and Build and Burn in DVDStudio Pro 4.02 or later.

    you can author in FCP 6 and Build and Burn in DVDStudio Pro 4.02 or later
    No..DVDSP only authors HD DVD not Blu Ray. The OP was asking about BD on the Mac and Encore is the only option but there have been alot of issues with it.
