Anyone knows about Karaoke Format???

I have a vcd type karaoke disc (it got video with (mpeg 1) with no sound & a bin file (where I believed it stores the lyrics & sounds). It's almost like the CDG, but actually it's not. It uses midi instead. This type of format can store over 10,000 songs in regular cdr disc (650-700MB). I can play this type of karaoke with a special karaoke player. When I select a song. I have to press 5 numbers. I don't know that someone read this will understand what I'm talking about. In general, I'm looking for softwares that can play this type of karaoke disc. Also, anyone know how this disc is made? What would you call this type of format?
