Ulead DVD Movie Factory and Vista

I have been using DVD MF 2 on XP for years.

I just picked up a new PC with Vista and loaded MF. It now has a problem that chapter insertion doesn't work. All options in the add chapters menu are grayed out and non selectable. Otherwise it loads and will author the DVD ok.

I'll probably end up getting a new version. I am going to give the version 6 trial version a try. It's $79 to purchase.

On ebay, version 4 is available for under $25, so I like to know if anyone has sucessfully used version 4 with Vista.

BTW, I tried using the Windows DVD maker that comes with Vista, but from what I can tell it doesn't support adding chapters. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If you check the Ulead site (and you are trying out the latest version) then you will see that only from version 5 that Vista is supported.

But there are problems and not being a Vista user I do not know whether they have now been solved.

I suggest that you register at the Ulead forum as there are guys there with plenty of hands on experience.
