First id like to say a very happy new year to one and all.
i just got the panny dmr-ez27 as my dmr-e50 was starting to get a bit glitchy.
i use TMPgenc dvd author ver 1.5.15.49 to get dvd ram recordings onto my computer
for editing and then re-burn to dvd-r.
the problem i've encountered with the new recorder is there does not seem to be
any option to set the hybrid vbr resolution to fixed which is required by the version of TMPgenc dvd author
    that i am using.
am i missing something in the panny menu ?
or do i need to upgrade my version of TMPgenc dvd author ?
is there some other way around the problem ?
many thanks for any help in advance.

  2. Hi.
This option was removed from later models, I believe.

  3. What about using DVD-RW in video mode?
Is that no good? Or is it because you want to use RAM?

I use a JVC RAM capable recorder, but always use DVD-RW and TMPG Author 2.0.

  4. I've only had a problem with 1 or 2 discs that changed the resolution in the middle of recording. I did have a problem with InCD and TMPGEnc. After uninstalling InCD, no more problems.

I am thinking of purchasing this player/recorder for this purpose. Did you get the issue resolved?
