Hi folks, this has probably been discussed before but I couldn't seem to find the topic that tells me how to fix my current issue. I burnt a DVD from an ISO that has both DTS and AC3 audio included, but when I play it in my standalone DVD players, only the menus have audio, not the actual video. The same disc plays fine in VLC, but not in WMP (I'm probably missing the AC3 codec). I'd love to be able to play these in my standalone DVD player, if anyone can possible help me out with this. TIA,
-Kelly

Start by using your remote to change the Audio tracks while it is playing to see if you can find one that works.
DTS requires a decoding amplifier on a digital (coax or optical) connection and won't produce sound on most standard players without one. AC3, on the otherhand, will downmix to stereo analogue as part of the DVD spec.Read my blog here.

Sounds like it is defaulting to DTS, which technically is against spec, although I have create a few DTS only discs in my time. So long as you have the hardware, they will play.
You might be able to open the ISO and change the default audio track to the AC3 track using IFOEdit or PGCEdit, then burn a new copy.Read my blog here.
