Could you please move this to where i was suppose to post it. Thanks.
I converted 4 videos individually from AVI to DVD (i tried merging them together when they were AVI's but it had some kind of error). Each of them are now under 1gb (25 minutes long). How can i put all 4 DVD's onto one dvd disk which is 4.7gb??
I have Nero StartSmart 6.
If i go to 'copy multiple dvd-video movies to one'... and add them one by one, will all 4 videos be downloaded as one long movie (so that it will be 100 minutes long)? If so that would mean it will have chapters right, so if i wanted to forward quite afew chapters i could?? how could i make it it so that each chapter would be 10 minutes long?
I NEED THIS TO WORK ON A DVD PLAYER
*************
Also is there a way of putting on all four videos and somehow making a menu?? so that you could choose what to watch.

You can do this with "convertxtodvd" If you want the movies to play one after the other then use setting "sequential playback" You can set the program to make menu's and also to set chapters every 5 minutes.
Convertxtodvd also has built in burner."Whenever I need to "get away,'' I just get away in my mind. I go to my imaginary spot, where the beach is perfect and the water is perfect and the weather is perfect. The only bad thing there are the flies. They're terrible!" Jack Handey -
If you have Startmart 6, I assume you have the entire Nero package . . . .
If you do, you could use NeroVision for your project, although lots of Nero-bashers on this net think Nero should be avoided at all costs because they like other programs so much better. I'm not discounting their opinions as invalid, but the *intensity* of their disdain has always surprised me a little . . . .
NeroVision will often (always?) recode your video, resulting in some loss of quality. As in all video projects: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and "your mileage may vary." -
If they are all from the same avi - that is, they should be joined, try DVD Flick. Add all the videos to the one title, and it will give you a single title with seamless playback.
Never convert multiple files to different DVDs is the target is a single disc. It just isn't worth the extra effort to re-assemble them. Most programs (yes, even Nero) can handle multiple titles. Personally I would consider FAVC, DVD Flick and ConvertXtoDVD before Nero, simply because they can handle a wider range of sources much more reliably than Nero. FAVC also has a far superior encoder.Read my blog here.
