hi
i have a BUSH vhs/dvd recorder combo. When deciding what quality i have HQ,SP,LP,SLP could anyone explain the quality values as well as the dvd copying time .i am burning on Verbatim dvd+r , and not really bothered about quality

You manual will tell you, as these are not standard terms and can vary from recorder to recorder. Usually it will be something like 1 hr, 2 hrs, 3 hrs, 6 hrs, but it could also be 1, 2, 4 and 8 or some other combination. Generally, anything over 2 hours is asking for reduced quality.
