Hi i'm new to the forum but not to converting but anyhow. I have a problem making my first ever svcd, i've made tons of vcd and converted them too but i'm trying to get a compliant mpeg2 file that nero recognises. I've converted the audio and video seperate then multiplexed them with tmpenc. When i cut the 1.97gb mpeg file to 745mb to put onto an 80min cdr nero says it is not compliant. The size of the orginal .avi is 576x320 and i've tried to make it 480x480 which i think is compliant but nero doesn't like it. I treid to let nero encode the video too and it judders and the audio is terrible way out of sync. the mpeg 2 file created by tmpenc is superb perfect quality and sound but i can't get the damn thing on svcd. I have also turned of standard compliance in nero and the movie runs okay but is littered with large green squares. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. oh and thanks for a surperb site.
