I Need Editing Software
Please help me identify and choose a good product for editing DVD's that I've created with my Polaroid DRM 2001g. I need a product to easily eliminate commercials and other extraneous stuff from various video I've recorded such as movies and other cable TV shows.
I've already purchased AnyDVD and CloneDVD to get started with the cleanup and copying. Now, I need a good product for the editing and production of improved DVD.
Please advise.

If the source is a DVD recorder, you shouldn't need to 'Rip' it. Nonprotected files can simply be copied. As far as cutting out the commercials, I use DVD Shrink in 'Reauthor' mode to save the parts that aren't commercials. The finished DVD ends up with each section being a Title instead of a Chapter, but it plays fine.
