  1. With filters are good to youse when you are converting to VCD, and what should there settings be?

  2. It all depends on the encoder, but in general you should use a noise reduction filter that does not reduce the sharpness. In cases of high motion, you might also play with a temporal filter to reduce blockiness during high action video.
