Ever since I added the TV tuner card, I have been able to encode for 3 hours and watch a game at the same time but after the shitty games yesterday, I have to agree with the poll results, "What a waste of time"
    This is so much fun!

I'll have to go along with gadgetguy's assessment. I cherish watching son #2 play baseball. He's a catcher and his love for the game flows to all viewers. He works extremely hard at it and it shows.

Son #1 is a swimmer and I love to watch him too, but I can go to a meet, spend five hours at the pool and watch him swim for less than three minutes. The kid swims sub-minute 100s in his specialty strokes, so if I attend a meet on a day when he swims 50 free, 100 free and 100 back; he's in the water LESS than three minutes - way less.

I do follow my alma mater in football to some extent...

...lost their damn bowl game, too...

I like to think of myself as the true Video Help sports fan:

The guy that will spend at least 2 to 3 hours a week watching or re-encoding a a few episodes of Sports Night and being overjoyed at the wealth of enjoyment that the subject of sports can bring to the table...
If I can be of any help, you're in worse shape than you thought.
