Viewing and using AVCHD from files saved on hard drive..

I just want to be able to see whats on the files I saved on my computer and then use these files raw or by converting to MPEG 2 so I can make a DVD.

I have a high end system with NERO 7, ELECARD, I just bought CoreAVC and download ffdshow

Please anyone..

What do I need to do to view these files ?

What do I have to do to simply convert them to MPEG2 ?

Is there a simple solution ?

you might also want to try VoltaicHD for PC. It only converts AVCHD to AVI and not MPEG, so that its ready for editing in Movie Maker, so I don't know if thats useful for you.
