"Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings."

    close web help

This is the message that WMP11 post while am trying to play some DVD. Actually its my first time to encounter such error. I tried lowering the screen resolution and the color quality settings as suggested but still no luck. I have ffdshow installed as my codec and I have been using it eversince without a problem. I tried to play it on my dvd player and it works fine. I'm hoping someone here can give me a solution. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like WMP 11 doesn't like ffdshow or it isn't properly setup.
