  1. I was wondering if anyone had some software they used to schedule a capture. I use VirtualDub and downloaded a program called "LaunchPad" it is very basic, but I was able to make it send c to start a capture and space to end one. I'm wondering if anyone had used a more advanced methods, so maybe you could capture for an hour, use different name and capture for another, etc.

  2. I us a diferent program called AVIIO. It has a built in timer. It uses 24 hour format but easy to use. Simply set the start time and how long to record. Nice that I can save a setup with both the timer and setting and just recall then when I need it.

It also, I assume if its a TV card, can change the channel. I use a DC10 card so this part of the feature has no effect for me.

  5. Have basicaly all shows I tape { tape? } with there own setup. Helps for Adult Swim and Midnight Run since the good shows are at 12pm or when I just get too busy.

    Good luck

  6. Since I have a DC10 card it has no channels. Not sure if I ever tried it with the I/O Magic 39 dollar wonder card.

I asume that with the label and field that it does if you have a tv card.

For VirtualDub, I use VDStart (www.sssoft.net I think). It has a clunky interface, but works fine for me. It has the ability to rename the captured files after it stops, so I guess you could run multiple instances of it and have each set for different times and rename the captures to different names so as not to overwrite the previous, but I don't use that feature so I'm just guessing For general time-x to time-y capturing it works great.
