    Hi everyone:

    Where can I find matroska/MKV codec? I follow the guide here: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic241422.html#1074413, clicked on the matroska/MKV Codec, all I found is:

    MKV/Matroska is a container, and may have different codecs for video and audio. Installing ffdshow and Haali Media Splitter may help. Note, however, that the most recent version of Haali Media Splitter has removed Win98/98SE support; I don't know how easy it is to find the previous version at the moment. (I do have a copy of the setup file, though.)

    FYI: Anyone running 98SE likely doesn't have the hardware necessary for most mkv file playback anyway (at least not any of the HD mkv files). There are many users here with 2/3Ghz cpu PC's that are suffering from playback issues (stuttering, audio/video sync issues).
