  1. Hi,

    I'd like to uninstall a DVD burner I have (Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-111D) to put it in a newer system. Do all I have to do is uninstall it via the Device Manager, make sure it's gone from My Comp, and take it out after shutting down? Don't want to get any surprises... Thanks...

    you don't have to remove it from device manager. just physically remove the dvd burner from your old computer. then physically install it into your new computer. make sure you have the jumper setting on the drive correctly which would mean either set it to MASTER or SLAVE setting.
