I now have a Samsung Blackjack II and would like to watch video clips and movies on it that I currently have stored on my computer.
I would like to know what the best format to convert to would be, such as resolution, frame rate, format (divx, mpg, etc.), audio, etc. Basically, I want to keep the files high quality, but small size, and optimized for the devices screen output.
Also, I would like freeware solutions. There are plenty of freeware packages that convert videos from one format to another, so I just need one that can be set to output something that would be optimal for the Samsung Blackjack II.
Thanks in advance for your help. I've been reading this forum for years, and this is the first time I have posted.

The Blackjack II supports H.263, MPEG-4 SP, Windows Media, and Real Media (H.264). Use Windows Media or Real Media. Encode your videos at 176x144 resolution and between 100 ~ 200 Kbps. You can max the frame rate out at 30 fps. Don't worry about audio too much. Stick with MP3 or WMA. For videos, supported audio streams are WMA and AAC.
Real and Microsoft both offer their encoders free of charge. Google is your friend.
