unzip DVD

recently i downloaded the the movie from internet, that is compress file, so how to unzip it? i already tried win zip but no unzip prevail. till now i couldn't watch the movie i downloaded,, anybody can help?

It would help if you told us what compression was used. What is the file extension ? (e.g. .zip, .rar, .iso etc)

Try doing a google/yahoo/whatever search for the file extension. That will tell you what to do. It will also keep you from coming back here, telling us that it is National Treasure 2 or something like that, and getting no help at all.

Excuse my negative attitude. It's just that the downloaders come out of the woodwork during the holidays.

And basically, if this is a legitimate download, the site from which you obtained it will tell you how to unzip or play it. If it's not legit, you shouldn't be asking about it here anyways. Find out if the place from where you obtained it has a FAQ.
