  1. Hello Guru's

I get alot of sport DVDs from England. They come in the PAL format. I need to convert them to NTSC (i believe). So, I rip them into a .mpeg and then I'm trying to burn them to a DVD where I can watch them on my home theater.

The file usually rips to about 1.9g. When I try to burn the file back to a DVD using Super DVD creater it tells me it going to take more then 3 dvds. To me this does not make any since...

Is there a simplier way... Or, I'm I doing something wrong!

    Thanks

ps. these come in .vob format.

VOB isn't a format as such, it's a part of a Video DVD. But anyway, I suppose you're getting your videos in Video DVD format. There are many many guides and threads written here on the subject of PAL DVD to NTSC DVD. Just use the search feature.
The simplest and best solution (as convertion usually involves much more than what you're doing right now!), especially if you'll frequently deal with PAL DVDs, is to get a player that can play PAL.
