    How do i burn mkv files into a dvd,using burning software like winavi or Nero.Do i need to use special softwares.or change the mkv file into a avi format,before burning.Will this process,effect the quality of the video and sound?

    I have had success with FAVC, DVD Flick and ConvertXtoDVD. The first two are free. All are far superior and more reliable than WinAVI or Nero. FAVC has the best encoder, DVD Flick is probably fastest of the three.
