  1. i have a dual audio track 900Mb avi/xvid file and it's srt subtitles file so i though if i can remove one of the audio tracks it will shrink to 700mb and then combine it with the subtitle file much like in mkv videos that would be perfect and only problem is that i don't know how to do any of that so please help

    VirtualDubMod is good for stripping out unwanted (audio) streams.
    Load the AVI, go to the stream list, disable the audio you don't want, save out as new AVI (Video set to Direct Stream copy).
    AviSub can mux in the srt, and output a .divx file which can be played back with DivX Ultra certified players.
    For better player compatibility, it's best to leave the .srt as a separate file.
