    Anyone out there offer som advice.

    Whn using smartripper - on openeing it up it starts to unlock the dvd - however halfway though it says

    "Some files are still unlocked"

    What is this and what can be done if anything to fix this issue.

    All info would be greatly appreciated.

    make sure you are using the up to date smartripper, i think the latest one is 2.34. make sure you have, " unlock every vob chapter" marked. there may be more then one key that the dvd has and if you don't have it checking every vob file then it will not rip.

    On top of trying all that...try this. Play it in your DVD rom for a few minutes. This might unlock it too.
