Hi

My question is there a mac application that lets me convert a high quality AVI video file to a MP4 file using a H.264 encoder without losing any video quality or have sound sync problem?

Recently, crunchyroll started offering Hi-Def H.264 video streams on their website. I downloaded an anime file from them and was very impressed. It was very high quality and crisp, yet it was also only about 68mb or less, which is very small for its video quality. I was wondering if it was possible to do what they did by converting video files to MP4 using H.264 without loss of quality or sound syncing problems. I usually download high quality anime from megaupload, which is usually AVI files that is 170mb+. But the MP4 files I got from crunchyroll was almost the same as the AVI files I download from megaupload except it is less than 1/3 of the usual space.

I tried using the H.264 in FFmpeg to convert, but I experienced some sound syncing problems. The size was only reduced from 170mb to around 110mb.

Edit: I got FFmpeg to work, but it doesn't reduce the size to only 1/3 of original.
