  1. I just received this email where they are notifying me of an "adjustment" in my subscription price from $24.99 to ONLY $34.99... WTF???? that's almost 50% on the spot!.
I don't think they will be able to keep a lot of customers if they continue doing this; I believe that prices could be adjusted from time to time, but 50% overnight is just insane!.

I plan to do it as soon as the month I already paid ends.

I hope that if a gazillion subscribers cancel their accounts, they will get the idea!.

I love Netflix. They have both BluRay and HD-DVD so I'm covered with which ever format I had chosen. Great prices and very fast shipping. I get the movies the day after they are shipped.

Although I'm starting to notice something. The last two ships where I have shipped two back the same day, they get them the next day and ship two more that same day. However, I only get one of them the next day. The other I get until the following day. Anyone else have that happen?

Yep, it is real. It was addressed to me by name and included my account info.

I also commented this to my local BB today during a movie exchange and they told me that a lot of people are complaining. Then they offered me the BB Pass that allows me to have unlimited in-store rentals (2-at a time) for $29.95 a month.

It's a better deal than the online service right now, and that store has a pretty good selection, (and it's 2 min. from my house) but the thing is that I will be limited to just what that store has.

  12. Spokeswoman Raskopf called the plans "a really good value for consumers" that must be balanced against "providing a fair return to Blockbuster." She said the Dallas company hopes the increases won't cause existing subscribers to quit.
    NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!!

Do they REALLY expect the people to just take the blow and smile afterwards?

I get the $17 to $19 increase, but $24 to $34??? you got to be kidding me!
