I'm trying to get a WMM compilation to play on my DVD Player and (crappy old) TV.
What is the preferred Display size? I thought TV was like 600x 480,
But when you go to "save movie Wizard" and choose DV-AVI (NTSC)
It says; Display size 720x480 - - - 4:3 ratio.
I created a CNN style "ticker tape" at the bottom of my slide show, and that is cut off at the bottom of the picture on the television, Is it the display size? or what? help, I'm trying to get this done by christmas

Use this 720x480 screen cap as a guide for safe area, typeface and type size. Note the safe area stripe at the bottom and the top which fall off screen on a typical TV.

720x480 will be horizontally squeezed to 4:3 aspect by the DVD player.
