Hi all.
I've been trying to figure out what capture card to get, but can't come to any conclusion on my own.
Currently, I have a Hauppauge WinTV Theater card. It's good, but it's capture resolution only allows it to capture resoultion enough for a VCD. I want to at LEAST be able to capture input for a SVCD if not a DVD when burners come down in price.
Well so far I've been toying with the idea of getting either the Dazzle DV-Bridge or the Sony DVMC-DA2. Both center around DV input and output... something I haven't any use for right now, but may in the future. I just want something that is going to be reliable and that can capture high resolutions without problems. I've seen more complaints about the Dazzle product and none about the Sony one. The only reason I haven't totally ruled out the Dazzle one is that I can get it for about $235 where as the Sony is about $300. That's another question. Is there anything out there that's just as good if not less expensive? Are there cards that I'm overlooking?
Opinions?
Thanks all.
