why would i get some motion blur on my lcd tv while watching a movie on it through my computer? Is the Nvidia 8500 enough or do i need to return it to get an 8600 -8800. Also why can i not adjust the refresh rate up to 60hertz in 1080i through an hdmi cable? I have all the drivers up to date and i am really confused.

  2. Your HDTV probably doesn't support 1080p60 as an input. Most only accept 720p60 and 1080i30. Or your graphics card (or driver) may not support 1080p60. My 8600 can output 1080p60 -- I would guess your 8500 can too.

I don't know why you'd be getting motion blur. Unless you have an interlaced video and are using a blend deinterlace. Or maybe the noise reduction filter in the nVidia Control Panel is too high?

Could also be caused by the files that you are playing and/or the TV itself. Some LCD TV's have issues with fast motion. Do you have the same issues from other sources?
