svcd movie playing is out of snyc

The 2 svcd movies that I have and play on the dvd both have a beautiful picture. The audio and video is out of sync. It is like watching a Japanese movie dubbed in English. Have tried burning them on 4 different kinds of cd's and at different speeds and it always comes out the same, beautiful picture and audio and video not in sync. Any ideas on how to burn it or fix it?

Unfortunately i think its just a prob with certain dvd players...i have the same prob with my Tosh sd-1300...great qual sound and vid, but constant ausio synch probs. Tried several movies and discs to no avail..have given up trying...
