Ive checked this site but I cant find software that will allow me to take an avi file and split it in multiple places of my choice and then rejoin the new segments together. I tried virtualdob but its like reading a foriegn language. I also tried avisplit but cant find a guide to help me accomplish my goal. any ideas?

	For what purpose ?

I'm not sure what your language issue is with virtualdub, but that to one side, splitting video files and then reassembling them leave you open to sync issues and other problems. If this is for transporting the files, you would be better putting them in a rar archive and splitting that either when you create the archive, or later using HJSplit. If you just treat it as data, rather than video, you will have an easier time of it.Read my blog here.

I would like to cut certain/multiple parts of a movie and splice them together.
