I successfully did a copy of a DVD with my Pioneer A03, it played fine on my computer, but when I put it in my sony S560 player, and also my roommate's, it would not play and just showed the # 6 on the front panel display.
I made the copy basically by using SmartRipper to rip all the files from the DVD into a "VIDEO_TS" directory, and without editing any of the files, recorded it back onto a blank DVD. Is it necessary to edit IFO files, etc, like many of the tutorials say? Or is that only necessary if the original DVD is too large to fit all the info onto a 4.7g blank dvd?
